The latest exhibitions for spring 2008 comprised, from 13 February to 27 April, the first in an annual exploration of the most innovative and interesting work in design of all kinds. Selected from around the world, Brit Insurance Designs of the Year presents 100 projects nominated by internationally-respected design experts, curators, critics, practitioners and enthusiasts. The projects fall into seven categories: architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics, interactive, product and transport. 

The exhibition gives an overview of the most significant achievements in the last year. It’s followed on 24 April-10 August by a retrospective on Richard Rogers, who has contributed massively over the years to the reputation and scope of modern British architecture. It covers his projects from a family house in Cornwall, through Paris’ Pompidou Centre, to the headquarters of Lloyd’s of London, the Greenwich Millennium Dome O2 Arena and the Cardiff National Assembly for Wales.
